RELiON RB100 – 12V 100Ah Lithium Battery – Deep Cycle LiFePO4 – REL-RB100-D

The RELiON RB100 is a 12V 100Ah lithium iron phosphate battery. They are often used in larger applications, including boats, campervans, RVs and electronic vehicles. It maintains consistent power and is equipped with an M8 terminal type and a built-in battery management system (BMS). All RELiON LiFePO4 batteries have installation flexibility, fast-charging capabilities and are maintenance free. RELiON lithium leisure batteries have an impressive cycle life of 7000 cycles at 80% DOD.

RELiON lithium leisure batteries are perfect for off-grid applications where deep discharging is required and weight and size are key considerations.

The RELiON RB100 100Ah lithium leisure battery weighs 12kg and has M8 threaded connection posts.

The 12.8V RELiON RB100 lithium leisure battery can be connected in series or parallel. Connect up to 4 batteries connected in series to create a 48V system, and connect up to 4 batteries in parallel.

Lifespan of the RELiON RB100 100Ah lithium leisure battery

• 100% DoD – 3800 cycles
• 80% DoD – 7000 cycles
• 50% DoD – 13000 cycles

This means that a lithium leisure battery specced to provide 3 full days of power based on your daily power usage, when used every day (i.e. in full-time usage applications) will have a lifespan of around 15-20 years. For comparison, an AGM leisure battery of the same specification and usage will have a lifespan of around 3-4 years.

Lithium leisure batteries can be deeply discharged by over 90% of their total capacity. This means that the vast majority of the battery’s capacity can be accessed. The power density of lithium batteries means that they are over 50% lighter and smaller than their lead-acid counterparts. These attributes combine to make lithium batteries perfect for off-grid applications where weight and space is a key consideration, such as campervans and boats.

Lithium leisure batteries are ideal for anyone with regular full-time usage such as living on a narrowboat or full-time van lifers, as their long lifespan means they will not need to be replaced after a short number of years like a lead-acid battery.
