TN Power 12V Lithium Heated Leisure Battery 100Ah – TN12.8-100(LT)
LiFePO4 (lithium-iron-phosphate) batteries have incredible power density and longevity, making them perfect for off-grid applications where weight and lifespan are key factors. Our research and testing show that TN Power batteries offer the best value vs performance, and are subsequently our battery of choice for most applications. The TN Power lithium leisure batteries have an impressive cycle life of 3500 cycles at 80% DOD.
TN Power heated lithium leisure batteries are perfect for off-grid applications where deep discharging is required and weight and size are key considerations, and where the battery will be used in a cold climate below 0°C. The built-in heater will ensure the battery is kept above 0°C to ensure it can continue charging without being damaged.
The TN Power 100Ah lithium battery weighs 13kg and has M8 threaded connection posts.
The 12.8V TN Power lithium batteries consist of 4 cells connected in series.
Please note: Up to 2 TN Power batteries can be connected together in parallel, creating a total battery bank of 200Ah.
Lifespan of TN Power lithium leisure batteries
- 80% DoD – 3500 cycles
- 70% DoD – 4000 cycles
- 50% DoD – 5500 cycles
This means that a lithium leisure battery specced to provide 3 full days of power based on your daily power usage, when used every day (i.e. in full-time usage applications) will have a lifespan of around 15-20 years. For comparison, an AGM leisure battery of the same specification and usage will have a lifespan of around 3-4 years.
Lithium leisure batteries – use cases
Lithium leisure batteries can be deeply discharged by over 90% of their total capacity. This means that the vast majority of the battery’s capacity can be accessed. The power density of lithium batteries means that they are over 50% lighter and smaller than their lead-acid counterparts. These attributes combine to make lithium batteries perfect for off-grid applications where weight and space is a key consideration, such as campervans and boats.
Lithium leisure batteries are ideal for anyone with regular full-time usage such as living on a narrowboat or full-time van lifers, as their long lifespan means they will not need to be replaced after a short number of years like a lead-acid battery.

- Discharge: -20°C to +60°C
- Charge: 0°C to +45°C
The built-in heater will keep the leisure battery’s temperature above 0°C to ensure charging can continue, no matter where the battery is being used.
