The Victron Energy Blue Smart Battery Charger allows you to charge your leisure batteries or your starter battery when they are not seeing frequent use to maintain their health and charge. This IP65 model has been specifically designed for use outside and features a waterproof housing. The smart charger uses a domestic UK 3 pin plug to charge your batteries and also allows you to monitor the batteries using the VictronConnect app and a built-in Bluetooth connection.
The 12/15 model will charge a 12V battery at a current of 15A.

The Victron Energy Blue Smart IP65 Charger can be used on devices in your workshop and on motor vehicles, such as campervans, cars, motorbikes and boats. The IP65 model is designed for outdoor use and is intended for charging starter or leisure batteries that have seen infrequent use. Recovery of deeply-discharged ‘dead’ batteries
Unlike other brands, the Victron Blue Smart IP65 charger will attempt to recharge a deeply-discharged battery by force-feeding it with a low current. Normal charging will then be resumed as soon as there is sufficient voltage across the battery terminals.
Connect the battery with ease
The charger comes with both crocodile clips and M8 eyelets – making it easy to connect to the battery. If you wish, you can leave it permanently connected.
Check the status of your battery remotely
The Blue Smart IP65 is equipped with built-in Bluetooth, so the status of the charger and the battery can be checked on a smartphone, tablet or laptop. All settings of the charger can be configured with the VictronConnect App, which can be downloaded from the app store on Android or iOS devices.
