Victron Energy Pure Sine Wave Phoenix Inverter 12/800 – PIN121800400

The Victron 800VA Energy Phoenix inverter converts the 12V DC power from your leisure batteries into 230V AC power so you can run up to 800VA of domestic appliances continuously when off-grid. This makes the Victron inverter perfect for off-grid applications such as campervans and boats. The 800VA pure sine wave inverter will power products such as laptops, camera chargers and blenders, providing their combined wattage does not exceed 800VA for a prolonged period. The 800VA Phoenix inverter model has a UK 3 pin plug connected to the device to allow for easy installation.

The Victron 800VA inverter does not have built-in Bluetooth or smart connectivity, however, you can pair this Phoenix inverter with the VE.Direct smart dongle to allow you to monitor your inverter’s performance and settings via the Victron Connect app. This will allow you to set a series of programmable alarms and cut-offs to warn you of low and high voltages, as well as being able to disconnect if your battery’s voltage drops below a defined value. You can download the Victron Connect App and access its trial product library to see how you can monitor, operate & configure each component of your system.

Victron 800VA inverter – use case

The Victron 800VA Phoenix inverter is suitable for off-grid electrical system applications such as for use in campervans, motorhomes, RVs and boats. It is suitable for anyone whose mains power appliances equal a total wattage of 800VA or less.

Pure sine wave inverter

The Victron Energy Phoenix inverter is a pure sine wave inverter. Pure sine wave inverters convert the 12V DC power from your leisure batteries and exactly reproduce the 230V AC waveform you would get from a household mains socket. This means that they can power any 230V appliances. Certain 230V appliances can be damaged or not operate properly when run from a quasi (modified) sine wave inverter.

Proven reliability

Victron inverters are short circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.

High start-up power

Needed to start loads such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or electric tools.

ECO mode

When in ECO mode, the inverter will switch to standby when the load decreases below a preset value (min load: 15VA). Once in standby, the inverter will switch on for a short period (adjustable, default: every 2.5 seconds). If the load exceeds a preset level, the inverter will remain on. This helps to reduce the power consumption of the inverter when not in use.

Remote on/off

A remote on/off switch can be connected to the Victron Phoenix inverter to allow you to turn off the inverter from a control panel rather than using the on/off switch on the unit itself.
