The Victron solar extension cable has a male MC4 connector at one end and a female MC4 connector at the other end, allowing you to extend the cables from your solar panels. This can be useful in the scenario where you have several solar panels and your cable entry housing is mounted near to one end of the array. In this instance, the Victron solar cable could be connected to the panel furthest away from the cable entry housing, to extend the total cable length.
