Victron Energy MPPT 150/35 – BlueSolar Charge Controller – SCC020035000
Charge controllers intelligently collect energy from the sun and convert it into power for your electrical system. Using the latest, fastest technology, BlueSolar optimises this energy harvest, intelligently achieving full charge in the shortest possible time. BlueSolar also maintains battery health, extending battery life. The Victron MPPT 150/35 BlueSolar model has a maximum input voltage of 150V and a maximum input current of 35A.
Victron MPPT 150/35 charge controller
By constantly monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) panels, MPPT technology wrings every drop of available power out of your panels. The advantage of this is most noticeable when the sky is partially clouded, and light intensity is constantly changing. MPPT charge controllers are much more efficient than PWM charge controllers and we recommend them for most off-grid applications such as campervans, boats and off-grid tiny houses.
Smart functionality
The BlueSolar range of MPPT chargers do not have Bluetooth and so cannot be wirelessly monitored. If you would like to monitor your Victron charge controller via your phone, please see the range of SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers.
Load output
The intelligent load output function prevents damage caused by running batteries ‘flat’. You can configure the voltage at which BlueSolar disconnects a load – thereby preventing excessive drain on your batteries. And here’s the clever bit: SmartSolar will attempt a 100% recharge every day. If it can’t – during periods of poor weather – it raises the disconnect voltage, daily, until it achieves success. We call this feature BatteryLife because it maintains the health of your battery and extends its life.
Connection Points
This charge controller has Tr screw terminal connection points, so you will need to strip your input and output wires of a short length of insulation to fix them to the screwed terminal.
