Victron Energy VE.Bus to Bluetooth Smart Dongle – ASS030537010
The Victron Energy VE.Bus to Bluetooth smart dongle can connect to any Victron Energy product with a VE.Bus port that doesn’t have built-in smart functionality. This will allow you to monitor the product using the VictronConnect app and set any programmable alarms and cut-offs to warn you of high and low voltages.
The dongle is able to read data from all products with a VE.Bus port, and is commonly used with the 500W-3000W MultiPlus inverter/charger range which don’t have built-in smart functionality.
With the VE.Bus to Bluetooth Smart dongle you can get live status info, see historical values as well as configuring product settings.
VE.Bus smart dongle – use case
In a fully smart system, we pair the VE.Bus smart dongle with the Victron MultiPlus inverter/charger to allow the power usage and loads of the inverter to be monitored via the VictronConnect app.

Once the VE.Bus smart dongle has been connected to a Victron Energy product, the product can be monitored and programmed via the VictronConnect app. This can be downloaded from the app store on both Android and iOS devices.
Temperature sensing functionality
The VE.Bus smart dongle has additional temperature sensing functionality. When paired with the MultiPlus, this allows you to accurately monitor the temperature of your inverter/charger.
