RELiON 12V120-GC2-LT – 12V 120Ah Lithium Leisure Battery – Insight Series

The RELiON 12V120-GC2-LT is a 12V 120Ah lithium iron phosphate battery. They are often used in larger applications, including boats, campervans, RVs and electronic vehicles. It maintains consistent power and is equipped with an M8 terminal type and a built-in battery management system (BMS).

This Low-Temperature Series battery has the same size and performance as other RELiON batteries but can safely charge when temperatures drop as low as -20°C using a standard charger. The 12V120-GC2-LT is an ideal choice for use in RVs, off-grid solar, electric vehicles, and in any application where charging in colder temperatures is necessary.

The Relion 12V120-GC2-LT 120Ah lithium leisure battery weighs 15.6kg and has dual M8 terminals (insert and stud).

The 12.8V RELiON 12V120-GC2-LT lithium leisure battery can be connected in series or parallel. Connect up to 10 batteries in parallel to achieve up to 1200Ah.

• 100% DoD – 3800 cycles
• 80% DoD – 7000 cycles
• 50% DoD – 13000 cycles

This means that a lithium leisure battery specced to provide 3 full days of power based on your daily power usage, when used every day (i.e. in full-time usage applications) will have a lifespan of around 15-20 years. For comparison, an AGM leisure battery of the same specification and usage will have a lifespan of around 3-4 years.

Lithium leisure batteries can be deeply discharged by over 90% of their total capacity. This means that the vast majority of the battery’s capacity can be accessed. The power density of lithium batteries means that they are over 50% lighter and smaller than their lead-acid counterparts. These attributes combine to make lithium batteries perfect for off-grid applications where weight and space is a key consideration, such as campervans and boats.

Lithium leisure batteries are ideal for anyone with regular full-time usage such as living on a narrowboat or full-time van lifers, as their long lifespan means they will not need to be replaced after a short number of years like a lead-acid battery.
